heres the update that hasnt occurred in forever

some things:

+i made it thru my gross week of a million tests and passed them all with flying colors (except one we havent heard back from yet)

+the sun is here

+my foot isnt broken, i just have some weird thing where the tendon is pulling away from the bone, so just a brace not a cast is needed

+school is really easy right now and i barely ever have class

-/+my internship for fall 2008 is at OHSU in portland, which is cool i guess. i just really had my heart set on going to the mayo clinic...

-car accident in CA resulted in a death in the family

-still dont like spokane much

-frustrated with housing for next year

-class tomorrow is with a teacher i dont like. i dont find her to be very smart, and i dont believe or respect the things she says BUT its only 2hrs then i'm done

-my puppy, fleetwood, failed guide dog school. he's going back to my house for a week or so, including memorial day weekend (during which i will be home for a bit), then he's going to become the pet of my dads boss

those are the facts.

i just took the two hardest finals of my life and got A's on both of them because i'm a genius.

take that spokane.

today i took brains out of people's skulls.

has anyone ever lived in spokane?
i dont think i'm looking forward to living in eastern washington, but spokanes gotta be better than other parts of the state east of the mountains, right?

a big mommy deer and two little fawns have walked past my window twice in the past 3 days. its really neat seeing them so up close. today, the babies just hung out for awhile. they're so little...they still have their spots.

it also makes me kind of sad, because this is their home. and all these complexes and houses have taken over. so really, where do they live?

my school is requiring us to buy laptops and the only requirement is a wireless card (and office).

so, computer friends, what kind of computer should i get?

tomorrow is my last day of college

I'M SO OLD.

this morning it was gross out, but then it became beautiful and sunny and clear. so, megan and i decided to go for a walk. we walked from our apartment down to fairhaven, and then across the bridge along the water. a boy said to megan, "go aussies!" and we decided he was our new friend named roy. along the bridge we watched a nice dog (who we named super dog) play fetch with a 5 foot log in the water. several other dogs tried to go play with super dog, yet not one could match his powers. we continued along the bridge to boulevard park where we saw a man chasing a baby and a merman in the water. yes, there was actually someone in bham bay, so who else would it be other than a merman? we followed the path up to the stairs towards mathes and along the way a boy on a bike said hello. he was wearing a red shirt and a matching red helmet. we wanted him to let us sit on the back of his bike, and we think he heard us talking about him. but he just peddled on. we climbed the many stairs and the long hills, and then the many, many more stairs by mathes until we made it to campus. then we saw koser! it was glorious. and then we saw jacob! glorious again! we walked through campus, and as we neared the rec center, we heard voices singing. over by the big lawn art next to the tunnel to fairhaven were a group of boys singing the national anthem. we thought that was neat so we sat and listened because we thought it was for memorial day. as we walked towards them when they finished singing, they started running all around and we noticed a bucket! they were playing bucket ball, it was awesome. we made it home 2 hours later and now i'm drinking juice. that was my evening.

when i own a house, i'm going to put automatic flushing toilets in all the bathrooms. these bathrooms will also include automated sinks, soap dispensers that make the soap foamy (my favorite), and air hand dryers, automated of course. it'll be like an airport but way more awesome... additionally, i'm contemplating a whole air body dryer so towels will not be needed after taking a shower, but let's not get carried away...who does that? it'd just be over the top and ridiculous.

has anyone taken microbiology who wants to help me make a flowchart to do an unknown bacteria ID? probably not because you all hate science...
i think i'm missing some key element thats not letting me figure out how to make it and i'm frustrated and sad :(
and my professor is too pretentious to give any help on the matter lest it make him appear nice or helpful, and that he genuinely cares about anything other then himself being superior to us.

today, i woke up and walked to the pool to go swimming.
then, i came home and did some homework.
afterward, i went back to school to switch my cultures from the incubator to the refrigerator.
then, i got really sleepy and took a nap while watching tv. (guess what show)
later, i looked up quiche recipes and went to the store.
this evening, we made quiche. i'd never done that before, and it was surprisingly delicious.
we also made mango bars... again, delicious.
AND i made emily watch the neverending story because i wanted to sooooooooooo badly. and it was fantastic.
now, i'm sleepy again and its only like 11 o clock.

hi, i'm in the vu. its boring here. no one is around. i had physics at 8. our class is empty. how many short sentences can i make? that was longer. oh well. the boy i wanted to meet from the other physics class last quarter is in my physics class this quarter. thats all. i have microbiology at 10. megan is coming to visit me until then. we're going to cause a ruckus. ready?

i have to decide where to goto school next year. and its hard. and i cant decide. and i dont know what to do.

tonight i learned 'bingo' is an interjection.

if we set up a bingo tournament where it'd cost like $1 to buy a card, and then you have the chance of winning it back (plus more! OooOO) if you yell the previously mentioned interjection (because you have a bingo... c'mon, you know the game), would you come play? i dont know why i'm asking you because i think only like 3 of you live in the bham where we would have said interjection tournament, but you know. BINGO IS RAD, OK?! I HATE YOU FOR HATING BINGO. get out.


unrelated: i got into washu in st. louis... should i go there? apparently its the #2 school in the country.
